High PV Input Capacity

The Megatron 12kW Hybrid Inverter supports a recommended PV array size of up to 24,000W and maximum PV input power of 18,000W. Its two MPPTs provide flexibility when configuring solar panels across separate PV strings.

280A Battery Discharge Capability

The MT-12K1P-BL-G3 supports up to 280A maximum battery discharge current, with up to 12,000W maximum charge/discharge power. This makes it suitable for larger battery-backed loads where the battery bank is correctly sized.

48V and 51.2V Battery Compatibility

A 48V-class inverter can work with compatible 48V and 51.2V lithium battery systems where the battery operating-voltage range, BMS requirements and inverter compatibility are supported. Always confirm the specific battery manufacturer’s specifications and approved compatibility before installation.

Fast Backup Switchover

The inverter has a transfer time of approximately 4ms, providing fast changeover between supported power sources for suitable backup applications.

Parallel Expansion

Up to 9 compatible Megatron units can be connected in parallel, allowing system capacity to be expanded when required. Parallel installations must follow the manufacturer’s configuration and installation requirements.

Generator and Dual AC Output

The Megatron 12kW inverter includes a dedicated generator input and supports generator control functions. Dual AC outputs can also be used for smart load management in suitable installations.

Touchscreen Display

A 4.3-inch 800 × 480 interactive display provides access to inverter information and system settings. The inverter also supports monitoring through its available communication interfaces and app functionality.
